Highlights of Big Show/Wade Barrett from last week, with the formation of the new Barrett/Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater/Ezekiel Jackson group.

Josh Matthews, Michael Cole, and Matt Striker are the announcers.

Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel, and Heath Slater come to the ring.  Their group is called The Corre.  They all introduce themselves.  Teddy Long comes out to bitch at them for being assholes.  Barrett tries to explain why the Corre is good for Smackdown.  They banter for a bit.  Teddy insists that they play by the rules, then leaves.  Alberto Del Rio comes out to tell The Corre that they’re welcome here, but Smackdown is his show.  He cuts his usual promo about it being his destiny to win the Royal Rumble.  Insta-commercials.

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth.  Del Rio beats up Truth.  Truth hits a clothesline and Del Rio bails.  Truth beats him up on the outside.  Back inside, Truth avoids an elbow drop and covers for 2.  Truth works Del Rio’s arm.  Cut to backstage, where Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero have found Teddy Long unconscious.  Truth keeps beating up Del Rio.  Truth hits an avalanche-style Frankensteiner, then clotheslines Del Rio out of the ring.  Insta-commercials.  Truth boots Del Rio in the face and goes to the middle rope.  Del Rio pulls him down.  Cover gets 2.  Del Rio works Truth’s shoulder, then clamps on a rear chin lock.  Del Rio beats on Truth.  Cut to the back, where the paramedics are taking Teddy away.  I spot Tony Garea.  Truth makes his comeback and hits a front suplex for 2.  Del Rio rallies and hits an enzuigiri for 2.  Cole says Teddy Long has suffered trauma to the back of the head.  Truth hits a hip toss.  Rodriguez trips Truth.  Del Rio pulls Truth’s arm over the top rope, then gets the Minoru Special for the submission (6:42 shown).  This was pretty much just a backdrop for the angle with Teddy.

Teddy Long is loaded into an ambulance.  Vickie Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, JTG, Rosa Mendez, Hornswoggle, Curt Hawkins, Michael Tarver, Trent Barreta, and Kaitlyn are seen looking on.

Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler come back into the office to find The Corre.  They say they had nothing to do with what happened to Teddy and offer their assistance.  She wants one of them to face Edge tonight and soften him up for Ziggler.

Royal Rumble “By The Numbers” video.

Tonight, Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes!

WWE bullshit fact of the night.

Tony Chimel is the ring announcer.

Layla (w/ Michelle McCool) vs. Beth Phoenix.  They lock up.  Phoenix overpowers Layla.  Layla lands some kicks.  Phoenix does big swing and hits a clothesline for 2.  Layla hits a nifty rope walk armbreaker.  Cover gets 2.  Layla works Phoenix’s arm and applies a nifty hold.  Phoenix stands up with Layla and drops her to break it.  Phoenix makes her comeback.  Phoenix hits the slingshot suplex for 2.  Layla attacks Beth’s injured arm again.  Beth hits a backbreaker and the Glam Slam for the pin in 3:32.  It wasn’t awful.

Rey Mysterio is headed our way!

Stand Up For WWE BS.

Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. “Dashing” Cody Rhodes.  Rhodes grabs a side headlock, then hits a clothesline.  Mysterio hits a flying headscissors.  Rhodes gets the advantage and works Mysterio’s knee.  Rhodes sends Mysteri outside.  Mysterio avoids a baseball slide dropkick, then hits a drop toehold into the steps.  Back inside, Mysterio hits the diving seated senton for 2.  Mysterio hits a rebound cross body for 2.  Rhodes hits a side Russian leg sweep for 2.  Mysterio rallies and hits the 619 and a diving splash for the pin in 4:02.  Fine little match.  Rhodes looks to have a broken nose or something.

Todd Grisham tries to give an update on Teddy Long.  Alex Riley interrupts.  He and WWE Champion The Miz are on Smackdown tonight.  Cole mizzes his pants.

Tonight, Edge vs. a member of The Corre!

The trainer tells Cody Rhodes that his nose is broken.  Rhodes looks in the mirror and freaks out.

Non-Title Amateur Wrestling Challenge: Jack Swagger vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.  3 minute time limit.  Swagger gets a takedown.  Kofi escapes.  They keep doing boring amateur wrestling for a while.  Swagger dominates.  Kofi makes a comeback at the end, but Swagger wins 10-9.  Swagger jumps Kofi after the match.  Kofi kicks his ass, gives him the Trouble In Paradise, and hits a diving cross body, just because the crowd usually pops so big for it.

They show the brawl between Edge and Dolph Ziggler on The Cutting Edge last week.

Tonight, Edge vs. ?!

The announcer hype how the Smackdown ratings have gone up or something.

Trent Barreta vs. Drew McIntyre.  They show Barreta’s upset victory over McIntyre last week and the subsequent backstage attack and whatever is going on with Drew and Kelly Kelly.  McIntyre hits a belly to belly suplex, then pounds on Barreta.  McIntyre hits a snap suplex for 2.  Barreta rallies and hits a dropkick.  Barreta goes for a springboard rana, but McIntyre turns it into a powerbomb.  Cover gets 2.  McIntyre hits a hip toss off the top rope for the pin in 2:07.  McIntyre offers a handshake after the match, but Barreta decks him like a dick.  McIntyre righteously kicks his ass.  Kelly Kelly comes out and orders him to stop.  Hey, Barreta had it coming this time!  McIntyre tries to explain himself, but the dumb bimbo goes to check on Barreta instead.  Sorry, but this is a case of the heel being right.

Tonight, Edge vs. ?!

WWE bullshit fact of the night.

WWE Champion The Miz and Alex Riley come out.  Cole mizzes all over himself.  Miz cuts a promo.  They show him and Riley beating down Randy Orton on Raw.  World Heavyweight Champion Edge comes out.  They banter.  Riley talks shit to Edge and gets speared.  Miz acts like he wants to fight, then bitches down.  The main event is NEXT!

Edge is in the ring.  The Corre come out.  Vickie Guerrero comes out and screeches in her horrible voice.  Dolph Ziggler comes out to do commentary.

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Justin Gabriel (w/ Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, & Heath Slater).  Edge does some arm locks.  Gabriel throws a forearm.  This apparently pisses Edge off, because he starts kicking Gabriel’s ass.  Edge hits the Edge-O-Matic for 2.  Gabriel gets the advantage and beats up Edge.  Edge rallies and sends Gabriel to the floor.  Insta-commercials.  Gabriel gets a 2 count on Edge.  Gabriel hits a side Russian leg sweep and transitions into a weird hold.  Gabriel hits an STO and goes up top.  Edge wakes up and catches him with a dropkick.  Edge gives Gabriel an Edge-O-Matic against the ropes.  Edge goes up top.  Gabriel cuts him off and goes for a superplex.  Edge fights him off and hits a diving cross body for 2.  Edge goes for the spear.  Guys start getting on the apron.  Edge decks Barrett and Slater, but Jackson gives Edge a lariat.  Gabriel gets the pin (7:21 shown).  That’s a hell of a lariat.  Okayish match.  The Corre surrounds Edge and commence to beating him down.  They all give Edge their finishes and leave.  Ziggler places a foot on Edge and stands tall as the show ends.

Okay show.  It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t anything great either.

Alberto Del Rio & Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. & R-Truth.  Rhodes beats up Mysterio.  Mysterio beats up Rhodes.  Del Rio tags in to renew his war with Mysterio and puts a beating on him.  Del Rio sends Mysterio outside and beats him up up the floor.  Back inside, cover gets 2.  Rhodes tags in and missing a diving knee drop.  Mysterio tries to go up top, but Rhodes cuts him off and tries to set up a superplex.  Mysterio fights him off and hits a diving cross body.  R-Truth and Del Rio tag in.  Truth runs wild.  Sit-out front suplex gets 2.  Truth clotheslines Del Rio out of the ring, then sends Rhodes to the floor too.  Mysterio takes both opponents out with an Asai moonsault.  Insta-commercials.  Del Rio fights out of a side headlock from Truth.  Rhodes tags in and works over Truth.  Truth drops him on his face and beats him up.  Rhodes takes advantage of a distraction from Del Rio to deck Truth and get the upper hand.  The heels get the heat on Truth.  Truth gives Rhodes an electric chair drop and makes the hot tag to Mysterio.  Mysterio runs wild and hits a rebound cross body for 2.  They do a sweet cradle exchange.  Clusterfuck ensues.  Truth takes out Del Rio.  Rhodes takes out Truth.  Rhodes goes for the Alabama Slam, but Mysterio counters with a headscissors and hits the 619 and the springboard splash for the pin 10:30 shown).  Good little match.

Tonight, Show vs. Barrett!  Plus, the Cutting Edge!

WWE bullshit fact of the night.

Str8 Outta Brooklyn with JTG.  He talks about stuff.  I have no idea.

They show Wade Barrett attacking The Big Show during the four-way match last week.

Todd Grisham interviews Wade Barrett.  He’s going to take out the biggest, baddest dude on Smackdown because he’s Julius Caesar, or something.

Ezekiel Jackson returns SOON!

Trent Barreta vs. Drew McIntyre.  They show Barreta killing himself with a Space Flying Tiger Drop 2 weeks ago, and McIntyre jumping him like a dick after the match.  Barreta is good and pissed off now and beats up McIntyre.  The referee gets in his way, allowing McIntyre to kill him with a big boot and beat the shit out of him.  McIntyre pulls Barreta to the floor and rams his head into the announce table.  The referee looks dumbfounded.  McIntyre brings Barreta back into the ring and beats the shit out of him some more.  McIntyre lands a nice dropkick for 2, then applies a shoulder hold.  Barreta lands on his feet from a German suplex attempt and makes his comeback.  He goes for his fancy DDT, but McIntyre avoids it and hits a belly to belly suplex.  McIntyre tries to press slam Barreta to the floor.  Barreta counters and surprises McIntyre with a sunset flip for the pin in 3:26.  Holy upset, Batman!

The Big Show is headed our way!

Drew McIntyre jumps Trent Barreta backstage.  Kelly Kelly catches him.  McIntyre tries to make excuses.  Even she’s not dumb enough to buy it.

The Big Show vs. Wade Barrett.  Show beats the shit out of Barrett.  Barrett takes out Show’s knee and drops him with a big boot.  Barrett works Show’s knee.  Show rallies and beats up Barrett some more.  Barrett twice avoids the chokeslam.  Show goes for it a third time.  Heat Slater and Justin Gabriel appear to cause the DQ in 2:42.  Ezekiel Jackson appears and faces off with Show.  Barrett, Slater, and Gabriel jump Show.  He fights them off.  Jackson gets in the ring and clotheslines Show.  Slater gives Show a Complete Shot.  Jackson body slams Show.  Gabriel delivers the 450 splash.  The new quartet stands tall.

Moments ago, ^ WENT DOWN.

Michelle McCool (w/ Layla) vs. Beth Phoenix.  They lock up.  Phoenix picks skinny bitch up, rams her into the corner, and kicks her ass.  McCool avoids a charge in the corner and attacks Beth’s knee.  McCool works the knee.  Phoenix gets a schoolgirl for 2.  McCool recovers and keeps working the knee.  Phoenix uses the injured leg to power McCool over the top rope to the floor.  Back inside, Beth makes her comeback.  Beth channels Tully Blanchard and hits the slingshot suplex for 2.  Beth goes for the Glam Slam.  McCool kicks the injured knee and goes for a big boot.  Beth says “Fuck that” and goes her move again.  McCool counters into a front cradle.  Beth cuts it back and gets the pin in 4:06.  Not a bad little match.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston is headed our way!

WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston comes out and cuts a promo about FINALLY regaining the Intercontinental Championship last week.  Jack Swagger interrupts and puts himself over.  He talks about his ankle lock for a while.  Kofi challenges him to a match.  I assumed that was the idea anyway, since a match was announced and there was a referee in the ring.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger.  Kofi beats up Swagger.  Kofi jumps at Swagger in the corner.  Swagger meets him with boots, then sends him out of the ring.  Insta-commercials.  Swagger puts the boots to Kofi.  Swagger cranks on Kofi’s arm and shoulder.  Swagger hits a springboard Vader Bomb for 2.  Swagger keeps the heat going.  Kofi avoids a second Vader Bomb and rallies.  Swagger ducks the Trouble In Paradise and hits a belly to belly suplex for 2.  Kofi hits the S.O.S. for the pin out of nowhere (5:00 shown).  Swagger kicked out just after the three count.  Okayish match.  These two just don’t mesh well and I’ve seen them wrestle each other about 5 million times.

The Cutting Edge is NEXT!

World Heavyweight Champion Edge is out to do the Cutting Edge.  He says he dealt with one monster (Kane) last week, and now he has to deal with another (Vickie).  Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero come out.  Edge and Vickie banter.  Ziggler threatens to leave.  Edge insults Vickie some more.  Ziggler talks about how great Vickie is.  They show a video of Edge kissing Alicia Fox years ago that played during Edge & Vickie’s “wedding.”  They show a clip of Ziggler kissing Kaitlyn and getting caught by Primo and AJ 2 months ago.  Ziggler jumps Edge.  Edge records and kicks him in the face.  Ziggler bails.  Vickie screams and slaps Edge repeatedly.  Then she screams some more and jumps on his back.  Edge sets her down, then thinks about spearing her.  Ziggler pulls Edge out of the ring and and gives him the Zig Zag into the steps.  Ziggler and Vickie make out.  Fin.

Pretty solid show.

They show John Cena doing promo work for his crappy movie.  Meh.  Fast forward.

Tonight, The Cutting Edge with the iBooker 9000!

Slam of the Week: R-Truth & Eve Torres beating Ted Dibiase Jr. & Maryse last week, then the mysterious “I will have you” message on the Tron.

Maryse bitches at Ted Dibiase Jr. because she lost this week.  Dibiase is still mad about her losing last week.  Someone slides a message under the door.  It says “Next week, you will be mine.”  I don’t know where this angle is going, and I don’t care.

Sheamus comes out and tells an old Irish folk story, then issues an open challenge.  Commercials.

Sheamus is still in the ring.  He says no one is man enough to take him on.  Great Khali comes out.  Joy.

Next week, Johnny Knoxville guest stars on Raw.  Fucking ugh.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: “Dashing” Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre (c) vs. The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya).  The Harts get another shot despite losing their rematch on Smackdown.  Yes, I know they taped the shows out of order.  That’s not my problem.  Oh well, at least the belts are being defended on TV.  Ah, they explain that the iBooker ordered this match BECAUSE of the cheating in the Smackdown match.  Holy crap!  Yay for quality control!  Rhodes and Kidd start.  Cole talks shit about the Harts.  Kidd does a cool reverse cradle for 2.  Rhodes hits his rebound kick.  Rhodes and McIntyre take turns beating up Kidd.  Smith gets the hot tag and runs wild.  Smith hits Rhodes with a backdrop suplex, but McIntyre saves.  Smith throws McIntyre out of the ring.  Harts go for the Hart Attack, but McIntyre trips Kidd before he can springboard.  Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes on Smith for the pin in 3:12.  Okay little match.  Smith bitches at Kidd because Kidd accidentally hit him when he got pushed.  Smith leaves.  Why the hell are they breaking up the Harts?

Edge & Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton & Evan Bourne.  Jericho beats up Bourne to start.  Bourne replies with a knee strike and a running knee to the corner for 2.  Orton tags in and beats up Jericho.  Orton humps the mat.  Jericho scampers to the corner and makes the tag to Edge.  Edge and Orton brawl.  Orton does the Garvin Stomp.  Bourne tags in and hits a sliding kick for 2.  Edge tags in Jericho.  Bourne dropkicks Jericho.  Jericho bails an dBourne hits him with a baseball slide dropkick and a slingshot dive.  Jericho drops Bourne with a clothesline back inside.  Commercials.  The heels get heat on Bourne.  Edge goes for a suplex, but Bourne knees him in the head to escape it.  Orton and Jericho tag in.  Orton hits the powerslam, then the DDT OF MURDER!  Orton humps the mat.  Edge cuts him off allowing Jericho to hit an enzuigiri.  Edge tags in and puts the boots to Orton.  Jericho tags back in and lands a dropkick for 2.  Jericho hits the bulldog, then misses the Lionsault.  Bourne and Edge tag in.  Bourne runs wild, then gets caught with a boot.  Jericho tags in, bitches at Edge, then eats a knee from Bourne.  Edge spears Jericho and leaves.  Bourne hits the Shooting Star press on Jericho for the pin in 15:44.  Good tag match.  Orton RKOs Bourne afterward.

Highlights of the original Nexus attack on John Cena.  Tonight, will they call a truce?  Commercials!

WWE bullshit fact of the night.

Randy Orton runs into David Otunga, Heath Slater, and Michael Tarver backstage.  They promise not to attack him again, but imply that they will take out the winner of the Steel Cage Match at the PPV so he’s easy pickings for the MITB winner.  Orton tells them to get out of his face.

R-Truth will not be able to be in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, so there’s an opening.  Cole and Lawler hype the Money In The Bank card.

Josh Matthews says the iBooker 9000 has booked The Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship at Money In The Bank.  He interviews the Usos and Tamina.  Matthews can’t tell the Usos apart, and neither can I.  WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox shows up and bitches at him for not interviewing her.  Commercials.

SummerSlam Recall: Bret Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith at SummerSlam 1992.

WWE Divas Championship Match: Alicia Fox (c) vs. Eve Torres.  Eve hits some dropkicks.  Alicia pretends to injure her knee, but says she wants to continue.  Fox knees Eve and hits the scissors kick for the pin in 1:25.  This was stupid.

Cena and Barrett call a truce… maybe… next!  Commercials.

Next week, Randy Orton takes on Edge!

Wade Barrett comes out.  He says it’s “unfortunate” that John Cena has been caught in the middle of all of this.  He calls for Cena to come out so they can shake hands like men.  Cena comes out.  Barrett says Cena isn’t in their future plans.  He wants to put the past behind them.  Cena asks for Barrett’s word that the attacks will stop.  Cena teases shaking his hand, but fakes him out and says his usual goofy things, then says Barrett should stuff his plans “up his Nexus.”  Cena says he will take down every member of the Nexus.  Barrett says if Cena doesn’t shake his hand he’ll face “very severe consequences.”  Cena shakes Barrett’s hand, then goes for the Attitude Adjustment.  The rest of the Nexus run in and attack Cena.  Evan Bourne runs in and gets his ass stomped too.  Same for John Morrison.  Mark Henry, Goldust, Great Khali, Vladimir Kozlov, The Hart Dynasty, Santino Marella, and Yoshi Tatsu come out to back up the babyfaces.  The babyfaces clean house and send the Nexus running.  Cole gets an email from the iBooker 9000 promising “consequences” if there isn’t “peace.”  Cena locks Darren Young in the STF.  iBooker 9000 says Cena must face all members of the Nexus in a 7 on 1 match next week.  Cena kicks the shit out of Black Cena some more and FUCKING THROWS THE RING STEPS AT HIM.  Cena throws Young over the announce table and tips the table over on top of him.

The opening and closing segments and the tag match were good.  The rest of the show sucked.

WWE open, “Last week on Raw…,” Raw open, pyro and ballyhoo. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are the announcers LIVE from Jacksonville, Florida. Tonight, Randy Orton will be Edge’s guest on The Cutting Edge! Justin Roberts is the ring announcer.

Batista comes out and bitches about the way he lost at Extreme Rules, the silly duct tape finish, which they show on the screen. He whines for a while, and eventually says that tonight, he and John Cena will have a Beat The Clock Challenge to determine who gets to choose the stipulations for their match at Over The Limit. He calls out his opponent, The Miz. Sheamus comes out instead. Sheamus recites his own complaints and grievances, then challenges Batista to put his title shot on the line tonight. Batista says no. Sheamus says he’ll be WWE Champion again soon.

Batista faces The Miz NEXT!

United States Champion The Miz comes out and tells Batista that he still can’t wrestle after Big Show KTFO’d him last week. He has a piece of paper with “Doctor’s Note” written on it. Miz says he has a replacement, his NXT rookie Daniel Bryan!  Miz tells Bryan to not get pinned in 30 seconds.  Bryan says he’s sick of this crap and is going to make Batista tap out.

Beat The Clock Challenge Match: Batista vs. Daniel Bryan (w/ WWE United States Champion The Miz).  Batista immediately goes for the Batista Bomb, but Bryan counters into a sunset flip for 2.  Bryan locks in an ankle hold.  Batista kicks free and bails.  When he comes back in, he rams Bryan into the corner and beats him up there.  Bryan gets a sleeper hold, but Batista escapes and kicks Bryan in the face for 2.  Batista whips Bryan into the corner, and then into the opposite corner.  Bryan catches Batista with a boot and clamps on a guillotine, but Batista throws him off Northern Lights suplex style.  Delayed cover gets 2.  Batista throws Bryan out of the ring and follows him out, then hits a spinebuster into the side of the ring.  Back inside, Batista nails a lariat for 2.  Bryan starts fighting back, kicks Batista in the head, then gets kicked in his own head.  Cover gets 2 for Batista.  Bryan connects with some kicks and locks in a crossface.  Batista struggles to get a rope break.  Bryan puts the boots to Batista and has to be pulled off by the referee.  Batista kicks Bryan in the knee, then spears him.  Batista hits the Batista Bomb for the pin in 5:08.  Okay, this was kind of awesome for what it was.  After the match, Batista hits another Batista Bomb, just to be a dick about it.  The official time to beat is 5:06.  Batista comes back and delivers a third Batista Bomb.

Later tonight, John Cena will face Chris Jericho in the second Beat The Clock match!  Guest host Wayne Brady is on NEXT!

WWE bullshit fact of the night.

Last week, Edge speared Randy Orton and cost him the #1 Contendership!  Tonight, the Cutting Edge!

WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres poses for pictures.  Wayne Brady chats with her.  Jillian Hall sings at him.  Brady gets rid of her, then makes nice with Eve some more.  Eve notices her belt is missing.  Maryse hits her in the face with it and steals it.

Edge talks to some production geek.  The geek says they can’t show any good footage of Edge.  Josh Matthews interrupts to interview him.  Edge says WWE is PG, but he’s rated R, and he’s going to cause controversy.

NXT commercial.

Ted Dibiase Jr. comes out.  They show him trying to hire R-Truth to be his Virgil last week.  Dibiase cuts a promo about it.  He says he’ll hire somebody to slap some sense into R-Truth.

Million Dollar Champion Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. John Morrison.  Dibiase goes on the attack.  Morrison does his fancy stuff, clotheslines Dibiase out of the ring, and hits a nice springboard 450 splash to the outside.  Dibiase takes the count-out loss in 1:15.  He challenges Dibiase to comeback and restart the match.  Dibiase refuses.  Morrison says if he loses, he’ll be Dibiase’s Virgil.  Dibiase heads back to the ring.  Commercials!  Dibiase holds Morrison in a body scissors and beats him up.  Dibiase slingshots Morrison into the top rope for 2.  Dibiase continues to beat up Morrison.  Morrison connects with one of his fancy kicks and makes his comeback.  Morrison goes fro the Flying Chuck, but Dibiase trips him and covers for 2.  Dibiase goes for the Dream Street, but Morrison counters.  Dibiase hits a powerslam for 2.  Dibiase hits a big lariat for 2.  Dibiase hooks Morrison for the Dream Street again, but Morrison kicks off the turnbuckles and lands on top for the pin in 9:44 (think Bret/Piper from WrestleMania VIII).  Fine little match.  Dibiase jumps Morrison from behind after the match.  R-Truth comes down to chase off Dibiase.

Earlier tonight, Batista beat Daniel Bryan!  Next, John Cena takes on Chris Jericho!

Last Friday on Smackdown, Big Show KTFO punched Chris Jericho!

John Cena comes out for the match.  Jericho comes out SUITED UP.  He says beating Cena again(?) tonight would be a waste of time, so he’s putting Wade Barrett in his place.  Barrett says Cena isn’t beating him.

Beat The Clock Challenge Match: WWE Champion John Cena vs. Wade Barrett (w/ Chris Jericho).  They lock up.  Cena does ground work and tries to get the quick win.  Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Jericho gets on the apron.  Cena throws Barrett onto Jericho.  Cena throws Barrett back in the ring.  Jericho attacks Cena behind the referee’s back.  Barrett kicks Cena into the announce table, then throws him back in the ring and beats up him.  Barrett does very well, stretches Cena a bit, and mows him down with a big boot for 2.  Barrett continues to beat on Cena as the clock dwindles down.  Cena takes Barrett down and locks in the STF for the win in 4:38.  Fine little match.  Barrett looked good in there against Cena.  Before Cena can announce the gimmick match for the PPV, Sheamus runs in and hits him with the pump kick.

The Cutting Edge TONIGHT!

Another WWE bullshit fact of the night.

Maryse vs. Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella).  Maryse doesn’t have the belt, so I guess she gave it back after she stole it.  They lock up.  Bella does some stuff.  Maryse bails and gets caught between the Bellas.  An enviable position to be in.  Back inside, Nikki goes up top, but Maryse pulls her off.  Cole calls her the Divas Champ, because Cole is retarded.  Maryse hits the DDT for the pin in 1:01.  Whatever.  They show pics of Maryse posing over an unconscious Eve.  Eve comes out, has to struggle to get into the ring, then is held back by the referee while Maryse leaves.  This segment just got demoted from “Whatever” to “Utterly fucking pointless.”

Gail Kim and Alicia Fox are at ringside.  Zack Ryder is in the ring.  He’s single since Rosa was drafted to Smackdown, so that’s why he invited the Divas out here.  He calls out Primo for a rematch of their Superstars match, making some slightly racial remarks.  Wayne Brady appears on the screen and informs that he’ll be facing Mark Henry instead.

Zack Ryder vs. Mark Henry.  Henry slams Ryder a bunch.  Ryder avoids a charge in the corner and kicks Henry’s leg, then hits a missile dropkick for 2.  Ryder hits the Rough Ryder for 2.  Ryder pounds on Henry.  Henry rams Ryder into the corner and beats him up some more.  Henry hits the World’s Strongest Slam for the pin in 1:51.  Fun little squash.  Henry leaves with the ladies.

Chris Jericho and The Miz complain to each other about them both getting KTFO’d by Big Show.  Jericho has an idea about how they can pay Show back.

They show Edge spearing Orton last week.  Again.  Cutting Edge tonight.  The more they hype it, the less I care.

John Morrison hype video.

Vladimir Kozlov is backstage with Wayne Brady.  Kozlov is pleased that Brady has given him competition.  Santino Marella comes in dressed in 70s clothes.  Wrong Brady.  Santino still wants to tag with Kozlov.  William Regal tells Kozlov they have a match tonight.  They’re back together?  Oh, Santino brings up how Regal betrayed Kozlov.  Santino says he was one of the 7 people who watched ECW.  So me, my friend Cecil, Meltzer, Alvarez, Vinny, MGFanJay, and Santino were ECW’s viewership.  Regal says they’ve sorted it out.  Santino says “Regal, Regal, Regal!” in Brady Bunch fashion.  Oh, and Goldust is dressed in a maid’s outfit.  Brady thinks he’s Alice.  Goldust says “Who’s Alice?” Hilarious segment.

Review of the people who were drafted to Raw in the supplemental draft.

Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty and Natalya are headed our way!

Last Monday, the Hart Dynasty beat Show Miz for the Unified Tag Team Championship!

Chris Jericho and The Miz have joined the announcers.  I think I get Jericho’s plan!

Non-Title: Unified WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya) vs. William Regal & Vladimir Kozlov.  Regal and Kidd lock up and Regal goes into awesome Regal mode.  Kidd fights back.  Kozlov trips Kidd, who takes a bump to the outside.  Bad guys get heat on Kidd.  Smith gets the hot tag and runs wild.  Regal knocks Kidd of the apron the knee trembler.  Smith avoids the knee trembler and locks in the Sharpshooter for the win in 2:43.  Miz tries to jump Smith, but gets cut off.  Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Smith.  Miz gives Smith the Skull Crushing Finale.  I approve of the Mizard of Fozz.

More hype for the Cutting Edge, which I actively don’t want to see by this point.

NXT commercial.

Flavor Flav is next week’s guest host.  Fuck.

Justin Roberts introduces Edge for the Cutting Edge.  Edge cuts a promo I don’t give a fuck about.  Wayne Brady comes out and has fun cutting a promo on past guest hosts.  Randy Orton comes out and RKOs Brady.  Edge tries to convince Orton not to RKO him and to reform Rated RKO.  Edge bitches about the people not accepting him as a babyface, but they accepted Orton.  Edge says if Orton doesn’t join him, he’ll spear him every week.  Orton goes for the RKO.  Edge counters and boots him in the face, then goes for the spear.  Orton counters Edge MID SPEAR with the RKO.  Okay, that ruled.  Okay, this segment turned out way better than I expected.  Orton stands tall.  Replays.  Edge and Brady are still laid out.

This Raw turned out to be pretty fun.

Australia tour!

Montel Vontavious Porter & Matt Hardy vs. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler.  Ziggler and Hardy lock up and do some stuff.  Swagger tags in and gets beaten up by Hardy.  Insta-commercials.  Australia tour!  Swagger hits the springboard Vader Bomb on Hardy for a near fall.  Hardy counts a Doctor Bomb attempt with a side Russian leg sweep.  Tags to MVP and Ziggler.  MVP runs wild.  Ballin’ elbow drop, then goes for the Playmaker, but Swagger distracts him.  Hardy takes Swagger out of the ring.  Ziggler hits the Zig Zag on MVP for the pin (about 3 minutes shown).  It was fine while it lasted.  Ziggler sets up a ladder and takes down the briefcase hanging over the ring, I guess just for shits and giggles.

“Last Friday…” Edge/Chris Jericho stuff.  Tonight, Jericho will be Edge’s guest on the Cutting Edge!  (Read: The exact same shit they did last week).

Undertaker/Shawn Michaels hype video.

Teddy Long talks to Drew McIntyre backstage, jokes about him still being “undefeated,” and books him against The Undertaker tonight.

Hall of Fame hype!

The annoying mean girls are headed our way!

Smack of the Night: Tiffany vs. Michelle McCool from last week, and related shenanigans.

WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool & Layla vs. Beth Phoenix & Tiffany.  McCool and Layla are wearing shirts that say “Glam-A-Man.”  Layla tries to get the jump on Phoenix, but gets an airplane spin for her troubles.  Beth drops her and tags in Tiffany, who hits a diving cross body for 2.  Tiffany hits a suplex for 2.  The heels cheap shot their way to getting the advantage on Tiffany.  Beth gets the hot tag and runs wild on McCool.  Beth hits a slingshot suplex that would make Tully Blanchard proud for 2.  Beth tries to press slam Layla, but McCool stops her.  Beth avoids the Styles Clash and hits the Glam Slam for the pin in 3:34.  Vickie Guerrero comes out.  Fuck, I hate her.  She tells Tiffany to leave and says Beth owes her an apology.  Beth says she already apologized.  Vickie says she wants it in public.  Beth apologizes again.  Vickie says it’s not good enough.  Vickie books herself in a match against Beth next week.  Fuck.

The Cutting Edge is NEXT!

The guy who sings the horrible WrestleMania theme song is in the crowd.

Edge comes out to do the Cutting Edge.  He introduces his guest and WrestleMania opponent, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, who comes out with his NXT rookie, Wade Barrett.  Edge makes fun of them, then talks about spearing Jericho some more.  Jericho talks about injuring Edge again.  Edge challenges Jericho to make a move.  Jericho refuses, so Edge decks him, then goes for Barrett.  Jericho clips Edge’s leg and they commence the beatdown, but Edge fights back.  Edge throws Jericho out of the ring, spears Barrett, and turns around in time to eat Jericho’s Codebreaker.  Jericho stomps Edge’s leg and says “spear.”

Moments ago, ^ happened!

Undertaker vs. McIntyre TONIGHT!

The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya) vs. John Morrison & R-Truth.  Truth and Smith start.  Morrison tags in about 15 seconds later and the Harts manages to get some heat on him.  Truth gets the hot tag and hits the Lie Detector on Kidd for the pin in 1:39.  Welcome to squash city, Harts.

Mysterio vs. Gallows is still to come!

Same WrestleMania Recall from every other show this week.

Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Luke Gallows (w/ CM Punk & Serena).  Mysterio goes on the attack immediately.  He’s FIRED UP!  Gallows fights back and beats up Mysterio.  Outside, Gallows drives Mysterio’s chest into the barricade.  Ouch.  The crowd chants “6-1-9!”  Mysterio barely beats the count back in the ring.  Insta-commercials.  Australia tour!  Mysterio fights out of a bear hug.  Gallows tries to set up a superplex, but Mysterio fights him off and hits the Bombs Away and a springboard cross body for 2.  Gallows hits a big splash to Mysterio’s back for 2.  Mysterio hits his flippy bulldog and the springboard leg drop for 2.  Mysterio hits the 619 and goes for the diving splash.  Punk distracts the referee and Serena trips Mysterio, allowing Gallows to get the pin (about 5 minutes shown).  Mysterio jumps Gallows and kicks his ass after the match.  Mysterio beats the shit out of Gallows while Punk just watches.  The match wasn’t very good, but it worked.

Undertaker/McIntyre TONIGHT!

Raw Rebound.

Grisham and Striker hype the WrestleMania card.

The Undertaker comes out for the main event.  Commercials!

Hype for next week’s Smackdown.

Non-Title: The Undertaker vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre.  McIntyre bails as soon as the bell rings.  Undertaker catches him and kicks his ass.  Chokeslam, Tombstone, pin in 2:14.  Squash with a side of squash.  When Taker makes it to the top of the ramp, Shawn Michaels appears and goes for the superkick.  Taker avoids it and goes for the Tombstone on the stage.  Michaels slips out, superkicks Taker, yells at him, then does Taker’s pose to close the show.

Man, what a lame show.
