The point of this show is an eight team tournament to crown new ROH World Tag Team Champions.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round 1: Chris Hero & Adam Pearce of Sweet N Sour Inc. (w/ Larry Sweeney, Bobby Dempsey, Shane Hagadorn, & Sara Del Rey) vs. Ruckus & Jigsaw of The Vulture Squad.  Dave Prazak and Lenny Leonard are on commentary as always.  Jigsaw and Hero start with fine wrestling.  Hero bails.  Jigsaw teases a dive, but Hero walks up the aisle to avoid it.  Pearce and Ruckus tag in.  That doesn’t last long, as Hero and Jigsaw come back in.  There are frequent tags on both sides.  Jigsaw gets Pearce down with a cradle and has him pinned, but the referee is arguing with Ruckus.  The Sweet N Sour team manages to isolate Jigsaw and wear him down.  Ruckus gets the tag and comes in with lots of flippy stuff.  The Vulture Squad hits a whacky Gory Special/Ghetto stomp move on Hero.  Hero blasts Ruckus in the face with his elbow smash for the win at 12:06.  Eddie Kingston comes out to check on Ruckus and gets into a slap fight with Jigsaw.  Ruckus tries to calm everyone down.  Consulting Wikipedia… the angle here is that Ruckus is a member of the Vutlure Squad in ROH, but in CZW is a member of BLK OUT with Kingston.

Sweet N Sour Inc. are in the back talking about their win.  Hero says 1 down, 2 to go.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round 1: Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness & Go Shiosaki.  Steen coughs in his hand before offering to shake with Nigel.  Nigel responds by playing with his junk.  Go and Generico start.  Generico hits some nice armdrags, then Shiosaki chops the shit out of him.  Steen tags in and insists that Go tag in Nigel.  Nigel comes in for a moment, then tags out and bails.  The crowd sings some kind of weird rendition of “The London Bridge is Falling Down.”  Go and Steen trade shoulder tackles for a while, then Steen sidesteps one and tosses Go out of the ring.  Steen hits the ropes, but Nigel trips him.  Generico hits a suicide dive on Nigel.  Nigel come in the ring and gets a cheap shot on Steen and starts to work him over briefly, but Steen kicks his ass.  Generico tags in and he and Steen hit a backpack senton on Nigel.  Did I just invent that name?  Nigel and Go target Generico’s arm.  Generico plays face in peril and has his arm tortured for a while, then makes the hot tag to Steen.  Steen dispatches Nigel, then Go tags in and gets the better of him.  He goes for the Go Flasher, but can’t lift Steen. so he settles for a Fisherman’s suplex and gets a near fall from it.  Go hits a sweet diving knee drop to the back of Steen’s head.  Steen takes some punishment from Nigel and Go, but Generico saves him from being pinned with a German suplex.  Steen avoids Go’s moonsault, then they trade Germans and superkicks.  Tags to Generico and Nigel.  Generico hits a diving cross body for a near fall.  Steen tags in and nails Go before he can be tagged in.  Nigel goes for the Tower of London, but Generico hits a Yakuza kick to prevent it.  Nigel takes Steen’s Swanton and Generico’s diving splash, but Go breaks the cover.  With less than a minute left in the time limit, Steen forces Nigel to submit to the Sharpshooter at 19:21.  Nigel Pillmanizes Steen’s leg with a chair after the match, then Go makes him stop the attack.  Nigel leaves to “YOU TAPPED OUT” chants.  Steen and Generico hobble out hurt.

Steen and Generico are shown in the back getting their injuries taped up.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round 1: Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black of the Age of the Fall vs. Delirious & Pelle Primeau.  Delirious starts with Jacobs, then Pelle tags in, presumably to get his ass kicked, but he shows some fire against Black.  Delirious quickly comes back in and goes at it with Black.  Pelle eventually does take his ass kicking, then does some fancy flipping and makes the hot tag to Delirious, who cleans house.  Jacobs accidentally spears Black, then gets schoolboyed by Delirious for a near fall.  Jacobs (I think) blocks the Panic Attack, so Delirious tags in Primeau, who Black promply powerbombs into the turnbuckle, then hits the God’s Last Gift for the pin at 7:58.  Daizee Haze comes out and Delirious speaks jibberish to her, then Rhett Titus comes out.  He tries to woo Haze, but she bashes him and leaves.  Titus follows her to chants of “YOU GOT COCK BLOCKED!”  Delirious leaves, dejected.

Jacobs and Black talk in the back.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Round 1: FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong & Davey Richards of the No Remorse Corps vs. Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries.  “YOU’RE GONNA GET YOUR FUCKIN’ HEAD KICKED IN” is the best chant ever.  Richards and Aries start.  Aries does a sweet headstand in a pinning predicament, then tags in Danielson.  Danielson tries the surfboard and fails, but it leads to some sweet double teaming on Richards.  Strong tags in briefly against Danielson, then Richards comes back in.  Danielson tags in Aries and they double team Richards some more.  Strong comes in to save and brawls with Danielson until Danielson tosses him out of the ring.  Match goes on, and it’s good stuff.  Eventually the NRC starts to build the heat on Danielson.  Aries gets the hot tag and locks Richards in the Last Chancery.  Strong saves and hits a backbreaker variation on Aries, then tags in and covers for a near fall.  Aries hits a steam roller on Strong and tags in Danielson.  Danielson locks in the Cattle Mutilation, but Richards throws Aries on top of it to break it.  Strong hits some vicious backbreakers on Danielson, then locks in a crab hold.  Danielson escapes and goes for the Cattle Mutilation again, but Richards locks him in a Texas Cloverleaf.  Aries saves and NAILS Richards with a kick to the head.  Richards rolls outside and Aries nails a tope suicida.  Strong and Danielson trade strikes.  Strong hits a stomach breaker and a big sliding kick for a near fall.  Strong locks Danielson in some sort of strange submission hold, but Danielson gets a rope break.  Strong goes for the Tiger Driver, but Danielson backdrops his way out of it.  Danielson kicks Strong’s head in and locks in a triangle choke for the win at 19:23.  Awesome match.

Danielson and Aries talk in the back.  Aries is ready to kill Jimmy Jacobs in the next round.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Semifinal: Chris Hero & Adam Pearce of Sweet N Sour Inc. (w/ Larry Sweeney, Bobby Dempsey, Shane Hagadorn, & Sara Del Ray) vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico.  Hero immediately attacks Steen’s injured leg.  Understandably, the Sweet N Sour team continues with this strategy for some time.  After a few minutes, Steen manages to tag out to Generico.  Generico comes in and cleans house until Sweet N Sour attack his injured shoulder.  Generico makes a comeback with a diving rana, but can’t get the pin because of various distractions.  Hagadorn gets on the apron with Pearce’s briefcase.  Hero tries to throw Generico into it, but Generico reverses him headfirst into the briefcase.  Generico pins Hero with a reverse cradle at about 8:15 (didn’t hear the closing bell).

Steen tells Generico they have to fight through the pain for one more match to win the titles.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Semifinal: Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black of the Age of the Fall vs. Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries.  Aries runs down to brawl with Jacobs at ringside while Danielson starts with Black in the ring.  Aries and Jacobs come in the ring.  Jacobs uses a chair while the referee is paying attention Daniels and Black.  Aries ducks a shot and grabs the chair.  The referee sees him nail Jacobs and calls for the DQ at the 56 second mark.  AOTF leaves with Aries in pursuit.  Danielson listens to chants of “BULLSHIT” and “YOU GOT SCREWED” before leaving as well.  It makes sense for the match to go this way since the two teams were already scheduled to meet the following night.

Jacobs and Black talk backstage again.  Jacobs says he’s in Aries’ head.  They think they’ll have any easy time against Steen and Generico in the final.

Alex “Sugarfoot” Payne vs. Shane Hagadorn (w/ Larry Sweeney, Eddie Edwards, & Sara Del Ray).  Nice basic wrestling early on.  Payne shines, then Hagadorn hammers him down.  Payne fights back and gets a near fall with a sunset flip, then Hagadorn drops him with a sweet backdrop suplex for a near fall.  Payne fires up again, then Del Ray pulls him out of the ring and kicks the crap out of him.  Del Ray throws Payne back in the ring, then Hagadorn hits an STO for the win at 5:46.  Nice post-intermission match.

Sweeney gets in the ring and babbles a bit, then calls out Claudio Castagnoli for his match against Eddie Edwards.

Eddie Edwards (w/ Larry Sweeney, Shane Hagadorn, & Sara Del Ray) vs. Claudio Castagnoli.  Edwards jumps Castagnoli from behind to start the match.  Claudio fights back and Edwards bails.  Claudio follows him out of the ring and kicks his ass.  Edwards managed to get the advantage back in the ring.  Sweeney takes a cheap shot when the referee isn’t looking, then does it again when Claudio is sent to the outside.  Edwards jumps on Claudio and continues to bring the pain.  Claudio makes a comeback and fires away with European uppercuts and a dropkick, the a spinning drop thingy for a near fall.  Edwards avoids the Ricola Bomb and hits the Backpack Stunner for a near fall.  Edwards hits a big missile dropkick and tries to set up a backdrop, but Claudio escapes and hits a sweet springboard European uppercut for a near fall.  Edwards counters another Ricola Bomb attempt and hits a Lionsault for a near fall.  Claudio hits an airplane spin for a near fall.  Claudio lands a European uppercut.  Edwards responds with a superkick, then another cool unidentifiable move for a near fall.  Claudio throws Edwards in the air and nails him with a European uppercut for the pin at 9:50.

Three-Way Relaxed Rules Match:
Erick Stevens vs. Brent Albright vs. Necro Butcher.  This is just a wild brawl.  Necro uses the ring bell, then a piece of the barricade.  They brawl into the crowd.  Necro tries to bury Albright and Stevens under a mountain of chairs.  They fight their way back to ringside and Necro bodyslams Stevens and a chair.  That was neat.  Albright nails Necro and takes Stevens back in the ring, then hits a diving elbow for a near fall.  Necro hits a backdrop suplex on Albright, then tries a Frankensteiner off the top on Stevens, but fails.  Albright gets a cool arm lock on Stevens, but Necro breaks it.  Necro goes for a Tiger Driver on Stevens, but gets backdropped out of it.  Stevens dives off the ropes at Necro, but Necro catches him with a punch to the face.  Albright sends Necro out.  Stevens goes for the Doctor Bomb, but Albright hits an Air Raid Crash.  Albright nails some knee strikes, but Necro comes back in and hits some knee strikes.  Stevens hits the Doctor Bomb on Necro for the win at 11:36.  Fun crazy brawl.

Sweet N Sour Inc. runs out to attack Albright after the match.  He fights off Edwards and Hagadorn, but Hero gets the better of him for a moment.  Albright fights back and powerbombs Hero, then gets hold of Sweeney.  Pearce runs in and nails him with the briefcase, then beats the shit out of him with it.  Edwards and Hagadorn hold Albright down while Pearce whips him with a belt, but Albright escapes and chases them all off.  That’s bad ass.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Final:
Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black of Age of the Fall vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico.  In-ring introductions for this one, because, ya know, it’s the final.  They argue and shove each other before the match starts, then just go at it, brawling.  They fight at ringside, where Steen powerbombs Black against the side of the ring.  Steen hits a sweet pumphandle neckbreaker on Jacobs back in the ring and gets a near fall.  Tag to Generico, who hits a diving splash, but Black makes the save.  AOTF works over Generico’s injured shoulder.  Generico is helped out of the arena 6 minutes in, leaving Steen to go it alone.  At 9 minutes, Black locks Steen in a figure-four leglock.  Steen fights it and manages to get a rope break.  Jacobs tags in and locks Steen in a Sharpshooter, which is one of Steen’s favorite holds.  Steen counters it as Jacobs makes a tag to Black.  Black goes for another figure-four, but Steen kicks him away into Black.  Powerbomb to Black, then a powerbomb to Jacobs onto Black.  Steen goes for the Swanton on Black, but catches Black’s knees on the way down.  Steen keeps fighting, but Jacobs clips the bad leg and AOTF gets the advantage again.  Steen gets a near fall on Black with an inside cradle.  He goes for the Package Piledriver, but his knee gives out.  Black hits the God’s Last Gift, but Steen manages to kick out.  Jacobs and Black go for the powerbomb/Contra Code out of the corner, but Generico runs back down to make the save.  Generico lands a Yakuza kick and an Asai Moonsault, then gets the tag.  Package Piledriver to Jacobs, then Generico tries to follow with the brainbuster, but Black schoolboys Generico for the pin at 16:51.  AOTF regain the titles.

Jacobs cuts his usual promo as the fans throw trash in the ring.  Jacobs says Age of the Fall is unstoppable, then repeats “unstoppable” about 437 times.  They leave, then Steen and Generico hobble to the back to applause.  Fin.

Nice opening video.  Mike Hogewood and Dave Prazak are our hosts.  They explain the Code of Honor (that’s still around) and hype the main event.  Then. it’s on to the first match!

Delirious vs. Jerry Lynn.  They show a brief “smack talk” segment before each wrestler’s entrance where they have a moment to speak, then, during the entrances they show a little information on the wrestlers.  Delirious goes crazy at the bell, then they lock up and go at it.  Delirious gets a knock down, then Lynn takes him down and locks in a surfboard.  Delirious counters.  Fast paced match.  Lynn hits a head scissors and a backbreaker and gets a two count.  Delirious drops Lynn and hits a senton for a near fall.  Delirious works a hold, but Lynn fights out.  Delirious hits a couple of lariats, then Lynn ducks one and gets a near fall with a backslide.  Lynn hits a Gory Bomb for a near fall.  Back and forth stuff.  I haven’t done a review in a while so I’m off my mark.  Lynn hits the Cradle Piledriver for the win at 5:41.

Kyle Durden (who?) interviews Tyler Black, who apparently grew up watching Jimmy Jacobs, so he must be about 10 years old.

Sami Callihan vs. Kenny King.  King leapfrogs Callihan to start, then they lock up.  Callihan grabs a hammerlock, but King swankly counters it.  They have a nice little exchange, then King drapes Callihan across the ropes as he jumps out of the ring.  King goes to work on him.  King hits an enzuigiri and a huge spinebuster for a near fall.  Callihan makes a comeback and hits a sweet Exploder, then works him over a bit and locks in the Koji Clutch.  King manages to get a foot on the ropes.  King hits a running double knee in the corner and follows with the Coronation for the win at 5:43.  Fun little match.

Kyle Durden interviews Jimmy Jacobs.

Sweet ROH History highlight video, showing lots of WWE and TNA guys and legends who have appeared in ROH over the years.

Rhett Titus vs. Brent Albright.  Albright fires away with vicious chops.  Titus fights back and tries to suplex Albright, but can’t get the bigger man up.  Albright does the suplexing, complete with stall.  Titus stands on the ropes and Albright pulls him down straight into a backbreaker.  Neat.  Albright hits a Crucifix Bomb and covers, but Titus gets a foot on the ropes.  Albright clotheslines Titus out of the ring and dives onto him.  Albright throws Titus back in, but gets his eyes scraped and is knocked off the apron.  Titus gets the offensive and goes to work on Albright.  Albright battles back with chops, but Titus scrapes his eyes again and hits a move for a near fall.  Titus keeps up the beating, complete with his homo taunts.  Albright makes a comeback, but Titus hits a dropkick for a near fall.  Albright hits the half-nelson suplex and locks in the Crowbar for the victory at 6:33.

They show footage of Austin Aries murdering Jacobs at Rising Above, leading to the break up of Jacobs and Black at Final Battle.  The main event is next!

Jimmy Jacobs vs. Tyler Black.  They lock up, then shove each other.  Black gives the stronger shove.  They lock up again and tear into each other.  Jacobs throws some chairs into the ring, then jumps Black from behind as Black removes the chairs.  Jacobs beats on Black for a bit, then Black makes a comeback and beats on Jacobs until Jacobs counters with a neat headscissors that sends Black face first into the turnbuckle.  Jacobs beats on Black for a bit.  Black gets some shots in and goes up top, but Jacobs pushes him off the top rope into the guardrail.  Jacobs continues his beatdown.  Black finally makes a comeback and hits a huge springboard lariat for a near fall.  Black misses a moonsault but hits a standing Shooting Star press for a near fall.  Black goes up top and goes for the Phoenix Splash, but Jacobs avoids it and spears Black for a near fall.  Jacobs works over Black again, and starts to get frustrated when he can’t put him away.  Black gets his knees up to counter Jacob’s diving senton.  Black goes for the God’s Last Gift, but Jacobs locks in the End Time.  Black finally manages to escape it.  Jacobs avoids a kick and gets a schoolboy for a near fall.  Jacobs locks in the End Time again.  Black manages to turn into into a bridge to pin Jacobs at 13:51.  Good little match.

Next week: Nigel McGuinness takes on Jay Briscoe!

Larry Sweeney is annoyed that Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards both lost their matches last night.  He tells Richards he has the Briscoes tonight, and his partner is Takeshi Morishima.

The ring announcer puts over that tonight’s show includes participation from 5 promotions: ROH, NOAH, Kensuke Office, DDT, and New Japan.  He starts talking about the main event, but Austin Aries comes out, mad about Age of the Fall kicking his ass last night, and calls out Tyler Black.

Austin Aries vs. Tyler Black. Aries meets Black on the ramp and they brawl they way to, out of, and around the ring.  Aries locks in the Last Chancery on the ramp.  As always, Dave Prazak and Lenny Leonard are on commentary.  These two hate each other, and this match reflects that.  Aries wins with the Last Chancery in 11:06 in a good match.  Jimmy Jacobs attacks Aries after the match and locks him in the End Time until he passes out.  Jacobs takes the mic and says the same thing he says every time he picks up a mic.

Kazushi Miyamoto vs. Eddie Edwards (w/ Larry Sweeney).  I believe this is Miyamoto’s second match in ROH.  He wrestled in a tag match during the ROH vs. All Japan series at Final Battle 2003.  Shockingly, the announcers don’t mention it.  They normally put stuff like that over.  Good little match.  Sweeney gets involved.  Edwards holds Miyamoto for Sweeney to hit him, but Miyamoto ducks and Sweeney slugs Edwards.  Miyamoto school boys Edwards for the win at 5:09.  Sweeney apologizes to Edwards after the match, and they hug.  Awww.

Bryan Danielson talks about being in ROH since the beginning.  He says tonight he’ll achieve one of his dreams, and finally become a singles champion in Japan.

El Generico vs. Taiji Ishmori.  Ole, Ole Ole Ole!  The crowd is actually lively for this show, and they really like Ishimori.  7 minutes in, Ishimori does a big moonsault to the floor.  Back in, Ishimori gets some near falls.  Generico hits a crazy Crossfire-like move for a near fall.  Ishimori hits an avalanche-style Frankensteiner and follows with a German for a near fall.  Ishimori hits a sick tornado DDT.  Generico gets a near fall off a Michinoku Driver II.  Ishimori gets a near fall with a crucifix hold, then hits a sick DDT-type move for a near fall.  Ishimori wins with the Superstar Elbow at 12:23.

Takeshi Morishima & Davey Richards (w/ Larry Sweeney) vs. The Briscoe Brothers.  The Briscoes try double team tactics to take down the big former ROH World Champion, Morishima.  At one point they try to double suplex him, but Morishima suplexes them both.  The Briscoes try stereo sunset flips, but Morishima and Richards sit on them.  I imagine Richards’ butt splash is less effective than Morishima’s.  Sweeney keeps getting involved, but Jay decks him and knocks him off the apron.  Morishima takes Jay down, though, and Mark falls victim to Richards’ Alarm Clock to give Morishima & Richards the win at 11:58.  The announcers say it was right on the chin, even though he obviously hit Mark’s chest.  I always thought ROH wasn’t as stupid as WWE, but I’m rapidly being proven wrong.  AOTF runs in and assaults the Briscoes after the match, complete with Jacobs making Jay pass out to the End Time.

ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness says Danielson got lucky when he pinned him with an inside cradle last night.  He said tonight, Age of the Fall’s luck would run out tonight, because he wouldn’t lose the belt to Jimmy Jacobs.

GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: Yoshinobu Kanemaru (c) vs. Bryan Danielson.  Joe Higuchi reads the title match declaration, we get the introductions.  I don’t watch much NOAH, so I’ve only seen Kanemaru wrestle a couple of times.  Even if he sucks, it doesn’t matter, because he’s in there with Danielson.  The match is typical Danielson greatness.  At 14 minutes, Kanemaru misses a moonsault but lands on his feet.  He hits lots of DDTs.  Fuck, Danielson is great.  Kanemaru murders Danielson with a DDT off the top, but Danielson gets his foot in the ropes, then kicks out of a brainbuster.  Kanemaru goes for the moonsault again, but Danielson gets up and hits a backdrop suplex off the top rope.  At 20 minutes, Danielson hits a Tiger suplex and transitions into the Cattle Mutilation.  Kanemaru fights it.  Danielson gives him the elbows and another Tiger suplex, then locks in the Cattle Mutilation again.  Kanemaru submits at 20:40.  Danielson is awarded the belt and a trophy, and poses for pictures like everybody in Japan when they win something.

Danielson’s post-match interview, which is translated into Japanese for their TV.  He says he wants his match next week with Katsuhiko Nakajima to be a title match.  After that, he’ll wrestle anybody.  He’s the champ, bitches!  At the end of the interview, you can hear Hogan’s nWo music playing in the background.  Weird.

Naomichi Marufuji & Katsuhiko Nakajima vs. KENTA & Kota Ibushi.  Marufuji has gotten a haircut since the last time I saw him.  Warning: If you don’t like kicks, this is NOT the match for you.  It is, however, fine for me.  There’s just something about guys kicking the shit out of each other that I enjoy.  28 minutes in, they finally mention that the match has a 30 minute time limit.  Ibushi and Nakajima desperately try to beat each other with less than a minute left, but the time limit expires.  They ask to go five more minutes, and get the restart.  KENTA and Marufuji start going for big moves to finish each other off.  Marufuji hits the Shiranui, but Ibushi breaks it up.  Ibushi hits an awesome handspring kick on Marufuji to set up KENTA’s top rope Falcon Arrow, but Nakajima breaks that cover up.  Ibushi hits the Phoenix splash and KENTA covers, but Nakajima breaks that one too.  KENTA eats Marufuji’s superkick, then hits the Busaiku knee kick and gets a two count just as the overtime expires as well.  Match is a time limit draw.  It still ruled.  Everybody shakes hands after the match.

Go to ROHWrestling.com and BUY STUFF!

Tyler Black pumps up Jimmy Jacobs for his World title match.  Jacobs says he’ll win the title, then AOTF will have all the power.

Non-Title: Roderick Strong vs. GHC Heavyweight Champion Kensuke Sasaki.  This shall rule.  It doesn’t take long for them to start chopping the shit out of each other.  4 minutes in, Sasaki does an avalanche-style Frankensteiner.  Sasaki dominates Strong for several minutes, but Strong finally makes a brief comeback.  The match is back and forth from that point.  Sasaki wins with the Northern Lights bomb at 12:20.  Fine match.  They embrace afterwards.  How nice.

ROH World Championship Match: Nigel McGuinness (c) vs. Jimmy Jacobs.  Jacobs jumps Nigel during the introductions to start the match.  Nigel plays babyface for this match.  The Japanese like him, while Jacobs just gets on their nerves.  He gets on my nerves, anyway.  At 9 minutes, Jacobs locks in the End Time, but Nigel gets a rope break.  Jacobs sets Nigel in a chair at ringside and dives onto him.  He tries something else, but Nigel hits the rebound lariat, then the Tower of London off the guardrail.  Back in the ring, he gets a two count.  Jacobs hits the Contra Code at around 15 minutes for a near fall.  Jacobs goes for the End Time, but Nigel counters.  Nigel hits the Tower of London, but Jacobs gets a rope break at 2.  Nigel hits the lariat on the ropes, but Jacobs kicks out.  At 17 minutes, Jacobs locks in the End Time.  The ref gets hit and Jacobs nails Nigel with a chain, but only gets a two count.  Nigel sucks it up and hits the lariat for a near fall.  Crowd chants for Nigel.  They exchange blows.  Nigel hits another lariat and gets a near fall.  Jacobs tries to use the chain again, but Nigel hits the lariat for the win at 21:02.

But wait, there’s more!

NO LIMIT vs. Kotaro Suzuki & Genba Hirayanagi.  This was a dark match, but it was still taped and included on the DVD.  NO LIMIT were getting ready to challenge Suzuki & Kanemaru for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team title, and this is a preliminary skirmish to that.  It’s also the first New Japan vs. NOAH match in a few years.  There’s no commentary, which is annoying.  I haven’t seen Yujiro or Naito since they were young lions, and I don’t think I’ve seen Genba wrestle ever.  So far, he’s the most interesting guy in the match.  10 minutes in they brawl into the crowd and NO LIMIT throw Suzuki out of the building.  With Genba left all alone, he falls victim to Naito’s Stardust press.  It’s announced as 9:29 I think but I timed it at 11:41.  Maybe I misheard, and my time was probably a little off from the video skipping because my computer is ancient and sucks.  They brawl after the match, too.

Good show, all in all.

That’s right, I’m back with more ROH!

Delirious vs. Go Shiosaki is our first match.  As always, Delirious goes crazy and runs all around when the bell rings.  After over a minute, they finally lock up.  Go backs Delirious into the corner, and Delirious begs “No chops!”  Delirious does all he can to avoid being chopped, and manages to do so for the almost the first 5 minutes.  Go then proceeds to chop the shit out of him.  Delirious comes off the top with a lariat, but then takes more abuse from Shiosaki.  Shiosaki hits a delayed Fisherman buster for a near fall and follows with a moonsault, but Delirious got his knees up.  Delirious goes on the offensive.  Delirious gets a Cobra Clutch in, but Go backs him into the corner and some chops.  Go ends up back in the corner and Delirious hits the Panic Attack and goes for the Shadows over Hell, but Go catches him with a kick and gets a near fall with a German suplex.  Delirious locks in the Cobra Stretch, but Go gets a rope break.  Go shrugs off an enzuigiri and hits a lariat for two.  Delirious tries an inside cradle but Go rolls through, picks him up, and hits the Go Flasher for the win at 12:14.  Go is a good sport and gives Delirious props after the match.

Larry Sweeney and Shane Hagadorn are backstage.

The YRR of Chasyn Rance, FIP Tag Team Champion Kenny King, & FIP Florida Heritage Champion Sal Rinauro (w/ generic bimbos) vs. Bushwhacker Luke Williams, Alex Payne, & Dingo.  Dingo and Rinauro start with mat work.  They resort to punching, then Dingo tags Payne in.  King and Rance work over Payne on the outside before they throw him back in the ring and the YRR take turns picking him apart.  Payne finally makes the hot tag to Dingo.  After his flurry, Luke finally comes in.  He uses Payne as a battering ram, then they do the Bushwhacker strut.  A kick from the top rope from Rinauro puts Dingo down for the pin at 8:13.

Sweeney and Hagadorn come out.  Sweeney again tries to recruit the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards & Rocky Romero, who are in the ring having just wrestled a match taped for the upcoming PPV, into Sweet N Sour Inc.  Roderick Strong comes out and tells him “No” again.  Erick Stevens comes out and attacks the NRC.  He’s challenging Strong for the FIP World Heavyweight Title tonight.  They fight in the ring, and a referee is there to start the match, but they kick his ass, so this isn’t a match.  They fight all over and bloody each other.  Stevens eventually hits a TKO, dropping Strong face first onto a chair.  I thought that would be it, but they keep on fighting.  They’re having a pretty good match, except it’s not a match.  If they’re going all out anyway, why not just have the fucking match?  Strong calls for Richards and Romero to come back out.  They bring clippers and scissors, and Strong cuts Stevens’ mohawk.  Then my DVD won’t play any further.  Apparently when my friend burned it for me, it didn’t burn all the way.  Dammit.  I guess I’ll have to get another copy.

FOUR DAYS LATER…

Video package of the Age of the Fall/Briscoe Brothers feud.

Relaxed Rules Match: Age of the Fall (Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black w/ Lacey & Rain) vs. The Briscoe Brothers.  Jacobs cuts his usual promo before the match.  So what exactly is the difference between a Relaxed Rules match at a Fight Without Honor?  Didn’t I just watch these teams in a Relaxed Rules match yesterday?  Mark springboards off of a trampoline over the guardrail onto Jacobs and Black.  That was neat.  This another wild brawl that goes all over the arena.  The announcers leave because “they’re getting close.”  I always thought ROH commentary was added in post-production.  There’s a clip, then they make it back in the ring.  Mark is down from a big dive in the crowd onto a hobo, so Jay is all alone.  Mark finally makes it back after several minutes.  Briscoes for the springboard Doomsday Device, but Jacobs catches Mark in the End Time for the win at 15:05 + whatever was clipped.

Erick Stevens is bloody and missing some hair, but he still wants to kick Strong’s ass and take his title.

AOTF says the Briscoes are done, Aries will win the World title and join AOTF, and he and Black will regain the ROH Tag titles.

SHINGO & BxB Hulk vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico.  New Hazard vs. Steenerico.  Dragon Gate vs. ROH.  Okay, I’m done.  Fun Generico/Hulk exchange to start, then we get the battle of chunky guys with Steen and SHINGO.  Generico does a crazy suicide flip onto SHINGO.  Stuff happens.  Generico takes an accidental friendly fire senton from Steen.  More stuff happens.  Yeah, I suck and doing reviews.  Who cares?  Nobody ever reads this shit.  I type it and that’s it.  It’s fun, though, and for some reason having a place to write about wrestling makes me want to watch more.  Hulk hits the E.V.O. on Generico for a near fall.  Steen goes the Package Piledriver on Hulk, but Hulk gets out.  Match gets a little crazy.  Steen clotheslines SHINGO and the both go out of the ring, leaving Hulk and Generico alone.  Steen hits a Swanton on Hulk and Generico covers for a two count.  Steen goes for a moonsault on Hulk but misses.  SHINGO hits the Blood Fall, but Generico breaks the cover.  Hulk hits a pumphandle E.V.O. on Generico, but Steen breaks it.  Doomsday Device-style kick on Generico gets a near fall, Steen breaks the cover.  Hulk moonsaults onto Steen on the floor.  Top rope DVD from SHINGO on Generico gets a two count.  SHINGO hits the Last Falconry on Generico and gets the win at 17:50.

Backstage, Erick Stevens is finishing his haircut since the NRC fucked his mohawk all up.

ROH World Championship Match: Nigel McGuinness (c) vs. Austin Aries.  Aries works Nigel’s arm.  He tries the Last Chancery early, but Nigel gets a rope break.  Aries continuously works on Nigel’s neck, weaking him for the Last Chancery.  Nigel gets the advantage and works on Aries’ arm, trying to weaken him for the London Dungeon.  At 13 minutes, Aries gets the Last Chancery seemingly out of nowhere, but Nigel counts out of it.  Nigel goes for the Tower of London, but Aries pushes him away and hits a missile dropkick.  Nigel tries again and hits it, but Aries kicks out.  Nigel goes for a lariat to Aries on the ropes, but Aries ducks.  At 17 1/2 minutes, Nigel nails the lariat, but it took all of Nigel’s energy too, and they both lay out.  They barely make it to their feet before the 10 count.  Aries hits the brainbuster, but misses the 450 splash.  Nigel locks in the London Dungeon.  Aries rolls through into a cradle and has a near fall so convincing I thought he was going to win even though I know the results of the match.  Aries goes the Last Chancery, but Nigel gets the London Dungeon again.  Aries gets out, Nigel goes the lariat but Aries gets a backslide for a near fall.  Aries hits the brainbuster and the 450 splash, but Nigel gets his foot on the ropes.  Son of a bitch!  Nigel ducks out and Aries tries to dive on him, but Nigel moves and Aries hits the guardrail head first.  Nigel sets Aries on the guardrail and gives him the lariat.  Nigel drags Aries back into the ring and covers, but Aries kicks out.  Nigel picks him up and nails the lariat, but Aries kicks out again.  Aries ducks another lariat and hits the Crucifix Bomb, but Nigel rolls through, hits the ropes, and nails another lariat to win at 24:44.  Awesome match.

Afterwards, Age of the Fall comes out and again try to convince Aries to join them.  Lacey says she’ll “show” Aries why he should join them and takes him by the hand.  Crowd chants “She has herpes.”  “Back In Black” hits, and Tammy Sytch comes out.  She chastises Aries for chosing Lacey over her.  Aries ignores her and leaves with Lacey.  Jacobs and Black hold Tammy and Rain slaps her.  Briscoes make the save.

SHILL SHILL SHILL!  Go to ROHWrestling.com, they sell stuff!

Nigel says he’s still champ, and he’s still the best, and if anyone tries to take his belt, he’ll break their jaw.

Main event time!

Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, & Genki Horiguchi of the Muscle Outlaw’z vs. CIMA, Ryo Saito, & Dragon Kid of Typhoon.  This is almost a direct rematch of the first Dragon Gate six-man tag in ROH, with CIMA and Horiguchi switching sides.  Saito and Genki start with a fun and speedy exchange.  CIMA and Doi follow with their own exchange.  Then we get the REALLY fast guys, as Dragon Kid and Yoshino come in.  At the 5 minute mark, it’s Doi and CIMA who are legal.  Yoshino saves Doi from a submission hold.  Oh, it’s Dragon Gate rules, so tags are allowed, but not required.  A lot of people shit on the Dragon Gate style for being all spotty, but I love it.  It’s the most exciting wrestling out there that I’ve seen.  At 11 minutes, Dragon Kid is taking the brunt of the abuse from the MO’z.  The crowd chants for him in encouragement.  At 14 minutes, CIMA comes in and hits the Venus palm strike and the Iconoclasm on Horiguchi.  Kid comes in and does the deja-vu on Yoshino, then sends him out and its a moonsault to the floor.  The match gets crazy to the point where I can’t watch and type at the same time.  Everybody hits big, painful looking moves.  Doi counters a super Frankensteiner attempt from Kid into a very HIGH powerbomb.  CIMA hits a top-rope Perfect Driver on Yoshino for a near fall.  CIMA goes for the Crossfire, but Yoshino counters into a sunset flip for a near fall.  The counter each other, then CIMA hits the Schwein, Saito hits the German suplex, and Kid hits the Frankensteiner, but Yoshino STILL kicks out.  Doi goes the Doi 555 off the top rope on Kid, but Kid fights it.  Doi manages to hit it and follows with the Bakatare Sliding kick, but Saito makes the save.  Genki hits the Beach Break on Kid.  Doi hits the Muscular Bomb on Kid to win it at 25:47.  Awesome match.

Larry Sweeney and Shane Hagadorn reflect on what a great weekend they had.  Sweeney says soon, he’ll be in control and have all the money… or something.

Another great show from ROH!

Another stupid Jimmy & Lacey video.  He gives her a ring.  She puts on something naughty and invites him into her room.  “Some time later…” the camera man comes back to find Jimmy’s shirt on the floor.  Stupid.

The show was really good, especially the actual PPV.  The Jimmy & Lacey crap was stupid.
