As Cena is handed the belt, Vince McMahon comes out and announces that Cena will defend the title against Batista… RIGHT NOW!

WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Batista.  Cena can barely stand, but he slugs Batista at the opening bell.  Batista hits a spear and the Batista Bomb for the pin in 33 seconds.  Worst match of the show so far.  I jest, I jest.  Cena walks out under his own power and looks at the WrestleMania sign in disappointment.

WrestleMania commercial.

Shot of Saint Louis.  The announcers talk about Cena being screwed.  They show Bret Hart getting his leg smashed by some random blond on Raw..  The announcers say Bret has a broken leg and ligament damage.

Tony Chimel announces the Intercontinental Championship match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Kane.  McIntyre takes the early offensive, but Kane comes back and kicks his ass.  Kane gets 2 off of the basement kick, then does a side headlock takeover of all things.  Kane hits a swinging neckbreaker for 2.  McIntyre avoids Kane in the corner and gets back on the offensive until Kane drops him with a clothesline and kicks his ass some more.  They go back and forth a bit.  McIntyre attacks Kane’s arm.  Very swank Codebreaker-like armbreaker for 2.  McIntyre works an armbar, but Kane manages to send McIntyre out of the ring.  McIntyre comes back in and goes back to the arm.  McIntyre boots Kane and goes for the Future Shock, but gets countered.  Kane boots McIntyre and makes his comeback.  Kane catches McIntyre coming off the top with a shot for 2.  Kane with a sidewalk slam for 2.  Kane hits the diving clothesline and goes for the chokeslam, but McIntyre avoids it and tries to bail.  Kane sends him into the post, then boots him off the apron.  Outside a bit, then back in.  Kane puts the boots to McIntyre.  McIntyre tries to leave, but Kane goes after him.  McIntyre catches him with a shot (“Snookie punch,” says Striker).  They fight back to the ring.  Kane goes for the chokeslam, but McIntyre thumbs him in the eye and hits the Future Shock for the pin in 10:11.  Nothing particularly memorable, but it was fune.

Gail Kim is headed to the ring.  Maryse catches up and speaks French to her, then gives her some BS about what it means in English.  Gail reveals that she speaks French and knows that Maryse has been trash talking her.  Gail says she’ll win tonight.

Maryse and Gail Kim come out for the finals of the Divas Championship tournament.  Before the match can start, Vickie Guerrero comes out and says that since the Raw divas have mad disparaging comments about the Smackdown divas, she’s changing the match to Gail & Maryse vs. McCool & Layla.  Man, they’ve been putting the Divas Title match off for forever now.

Gail Kim & Maryse vs. Michelle McCool & Layla.  Gail schools Layla to start.  Layla hits an AWESOME cradle that I’d never expect from h er for 2.  Gail gets a reverse cradle for 2.  Gail goes up top and McCool boots her to the floor.  Tag to McCool, and they hit Gail with a double baseball slide dropkick.  Maryse is being no help at all.  McCool stretches Gail and abuses her in other unpleasant ways.  Maryse refuses to tag in and and pie faces Gail into a big boot from McCool.  McCool follows with the Styles Clash for the pin in 3:38.  It was there.  The opening bit with Gail and Layla was actually kind of awesome.  Maryse taunts Gail after the match, then DDTs her.

NXT commercial.

Josh Matthews interviews The Miz, who’s carrying a lot of hardware these days.  He talks about mentoring Daniel Bryan on NXT.  He sees Danielson as a guy who’s “first in line at a Star Wars convention.”  MVP interrupts and tells him they’ll meet for the United States Championship TONIGHT!

William Regal comes out and cuts a promo about being a mentor on NXT.  Edge comes out.  He says he’ll announce who he’s going to face at WrestleMania tomorrow night on Raw.  Edge then spears Regal.

The announcers chat.

WWE United States Championship Match: Unified WWE Tag Team Champion The Miz (c) (w/ Unified WWE Tag Team Champion The Big Show) vs. Montel Vontavious Porter (w/ Mark Henry).  MVP and Henry went over Show Miz last Monday on Raw when MVP pinned Miz.  Miz talks shit to MVP, so MVP slaps him, then kicks his ass in general.  MVP hits a knee drop for 2, then back body drops Miz.  Mis rolls out of the ring.  MVP follows, rams him into the barricade, and sends him back in.  Miz tries a baseball slide, but MVP clotheslines him on the floor.  Back inside, Miz goes on the offensive.  MVP retaliates and locks in  a shoulder hold.  Miz hits a swank reverse lung blower out of the corner for 2.  Miz gets heat on MVP.  MVP surprises him with an inside cradle for 2.  MVP reverses a non-chalant cover into a crucifix hold ala Raw, but only gets 2 this time.  MVP should have saved that trick.  MVP surprises Miz with a blow that knocks him loopy and gains the advantage very briefly, but Miz hits a clothesline for 2, then stretches MVP with a modified camel clutch.  MVP its an electric chair drop for 2.  Striker makes a Monsta Mack reference.  Miz boots MVP out of the corner and gets the advantage again.  Miz goes up top and MVP hits the ropes to crotch him.  Miz fights off a superplex attempt.  MVP springs back up and hits a belly to belly throw, slowly crawls over and gets a 2 count.  MVP hits a flapjack.  Miz is bleeding.  Wow, they’re actually gonna let it go.  MVP hits the Ballin’ elbow and covers, but Miz gets his foot on the ropes.  Show pulls Miz out of the ring.  Henry sends Big Show into the post and tries to splash him into the barricade, but Show moves and Henry crashes through it.  Miz avoids the Yakuza kick.  Show hits the KO punch behind the referee’s back and Miz gets the pin in 13:02.  Petty decent match.  Show Miz celebrates.  The ringside medic finally tends to MVP’s cut.  Thank God they didn’t stop the fucking match again for that stupid shit.

Highlights of the Raw Chamber match and the subsequent Cena/Batista match.

They lower the Chamber again, and Tony Chimel announces the Smackdown Chamber match.

Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: The Undertaker (c) vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. John Morrison vs. Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk (w/ Luke Gallows & Serena) vs. R-Truth.  Taker quickens his entrance after a pyro miscue catches his coat on fire.  Well, that’s one way to get him to move his ass.  Punk cuts a promo on the four guys in the pods during his entrance.  R-Truth’s music interrupts.  Those two start.  They lock up.  Punk catches R-Truth with a kick and a backdrop suplex for 2.  R-Truth hits a break dancing kick for 2.  Outside, Truth catapults Punk into the Chamber, then rams him into Mysterio’s pod.  R-Truth wipes Punk out with a suicide plancha from the top rope.  Was that a plancha?  I get my lucha terms confused.  Anyway, Truth keeps up the heat on Punk.  They avoid each other’s moves in a cool exchange, then Punk hits the Go 2 Sleep for the pin in 3:34.  Punk takes the time to continue his promo, telling Undertaker he’ll make  him tap again.  Mysterio’s pod opens and he runs wild on Punk.  These two are awesome anytime they interact.  Punk avoids the 619 and catches Mysterio with a snap powerslam for 2.  Mysterio counters the Go 2 Sleep into a Frankensteiner for 2.  Outside, Punk swings Mysterio’s head into the Chamber.  Morrison looks on with concern.  Back inside, cover gets 2.  Punk hits the running knee to the corner, taunts Jericho, then rams Mysterio into the opposite pod like a lawn dart for 2.  Mysterio fights off a superplex attempt and tries to go to the top of the pod.  Punk catches him and tries to set up the Go 2 Sleep.  Mysterio fights out of it and Punk ends up crotching himself.  Mysterio hits an avalanche Frankensteiner to the outside, then hits the springboard splash back inside for the pin in 9:58.  Jericho’s pod opens and he and Mysterio go at it, which is always excellent.  Mysterio avoids the Lionsault and hits the 619.  Jericho rolls to the outside.  Mysterio goes after him, but gets planted.  Jericho works over Mysterio.  Mysterio hits a springboard quebrada for 2.  Mysterio tries a deja-vu, gets countered, and turns into a Beast choker (incorrectly called a Dragon sleeper by Striker).  Jericho counters and locks Mysterio in the Walls of Jericho.  Morrison’s pod opens and he runs wild on Jericho, dropkicks Mysterio, and throws Jericho out of the ring.  Morrison and Myserio go.  Jericho gets back in and schoolboys Morrison for 2.  Mysterio knocks Morrison off the top rope and into a pod.  Jericho backdrops Mysterio to the outside.  Morrison takes both of them out with a dive to the outside.  Back inside, Morrison hits a standing Shooting Star press for 2.  Mysterio ranas Morrison and goes for the 619, but Jericho catches him with that whacky backbreaker he only does to Mysterio for 2.  Morrison hits the Flying Chuck on Jericho.  Mysterio deja-vus Morrison into the turnbuckles, then goes for an avalanche Frankensteiner.  Morrison avoids it and hits the Starship Pain for the pin in 20:00.  Jericho locks Morrison in the Walls of Jericho.  Taker should have been in more than a minute ago.  His pod finally opens and he kicks Jericho’s ass.  Snake eyes, big boot, decks Morrison, leg drop to Jericho for 2.  Taker goes for a double chokeslam, but they stop him and hit a double suplex.  Double clothesline takes Taker out of the ring.  Morrison gets 2 on Jericho with a la magistral.  Jericho backdrops Morrison to the outside.  Jericho punches Taker to draw his ire, then tries to hide in the pod, but Taker mauls him.  The pod door is broken.  Taker beats up Morrison.  Snake eyes, goes for the big boot, but Morrison hits the Flying Chuck.  Morrison fucks up his bad ankle in the process, but goes for Starship Pain.  Undertaker gets his knees up.  Jericho looks to go after Taker, sees him sit up, and hides in the pod again.  Undertaker throws Morrison out of the ring and beats him up some more.  Taker grinds Morrison’s face against the pod Jericho is hiding in.  Taker goes for the Last Ride on Morrison, but Jericho prevents it.  Jericho rams Taker into the pod and rattles the plexiglass.  Morrison and Jericho go in the ring.  Morrison hits the basement knee for 2.  Morrison goes for the Flying Chuck again, but Taker goozles him and chokeslams him to the outside.  Ouch.  Taker drags Morrison back into the ring and pins him at 28:24.  Taker drops the straps and prepares to kick him some Chris Jericho ass.  He commences to doing just that.  Jericho hits a superplex for 2.  Taker goes for the chokeslam, but Jericho victory rolls him and goes for the Walls of Jericho.  Taker counters and goes for the Gogoplata.  Jericho counters and locks in the Walls of Jericho.  Taker counters into the Gogoplata.  Jericho escapes it.  Taker goes for the Tombstone, but Jericho counters into the Codebreaker for 2.  Jericho punches Taker in the corner.  Bad move.  Taker hits the Last Ride.  Taker signals for the Tombstone.  Shawn Michaels comes through the chamber floor and superkicks Taker.  Jericho gets the pin in 35:36.  This match was pretty damn good.  Jericho leaves with the belt while Michaels stares at a fallen Taker.

Good show altogether.
